German Gunner Mesut Ozil is surely having a blistering season since his arrival from Real Madrid in 2013 for a club record fee worth £42m
Ozil has been brilliant for the Gunners this term with two goals 13 assist in 15 premier League goals and 22 shots on target. Ozil presence in the team has really gone unnoticed as the team is currently second position in the league table.
When asked by German magazine Kicker if he would consider a return to his home country, Ozil would not rule out the possibility but made it clear he plans to remain at Arsenal for the next three years.
“I can never say I will return,” Ozil told Kicker. “I have beautiful memories of home, but I’m with Arsenal until at least 2018.
“Wenger has always backed me strongly. He’s always there for me. “I’d like to say so far, this is my strongest season for Arsenal, but no. This is the strongest season so far in my career.”
