FA Cup final 2015. Arsenal vs Aston Villa. May 30 2015. 5:30pm. Wembley Stadium.
Wembley hosts Arsenal and Aston Villa in the FA Cup final this weekend, as the Gunners aim for back-to-back titles and become the competitions record winners.
Arsenal have been dealt a massive injury blow ahead of the clash with the news of the unavailability of Old Trafford hero Danny Welbeck.
Arsene Wenger himself confirmed the news while speaking to the press ahead of this weekend’s Wembley showdown.
Wenger said: “Danny Welbeck is out still. He will not be fit for us or for England. That’s basically the only injury we have at the moment. Everyone else is available. Arteta is back in full training. We have no new injuries from the weekend.”
When asked on how much Arsenal will miss Welbeck Wenger said:
“He would have been short anyway so I was prepared for that. When I saw Roy Hodgson last we were both confident that Welbeck would be available but we called the FA yesterday to explain that his bone bruising at the knee was not healed and that he absolutely had to rest.”
