Liverpool are weighing up a move for Arsenal full back Kieran Gibbs, according to reports.
The Reds are reportedly in search of a left back this summer as Klopp looks for an upgrade to Alberto Moreno who has failed to impress at Anfield.
The Anfield club have now set their sight on Gibbs who is thought to be considering a move away from the Emirates after losing his first team spot to Nacho Monreal.
Wenger has reportedly agreed to sell the fullback should he find a suitable replacement but it remains to be seen if the French man would be interested in doing business with a rival.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool are keen on a left back and are seriously assessing their options which Gibbs features prominently.
Gibbs would reportedly command a fee of about £12m which shouldn’t be too much for the Merseysiders to cough out.
Liverpool are also keen on Leicester’s Ben Chilwell which Wenger has already identified as a possible replacement for Kieran Gibbs.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move to sign Wolfsburg’s Ricardo Rodriguez with Wenger reportedly set to activate the defender’s €25m release clause.
Gibbs started just three Premier League games and twelve in all competitions for the Gunners last season
