Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez has again been linked with a move to a rival Premier League side in the summer.
With Pep Guardiola set to take over at Manchester City in the summer, reports emerged claiming the Spanish coach was keen to work with him again in England, however it is London rivals Chelsea who are currently planning to swoop for him.
The Express via the Daily Star reports that the Blues have drawn up a managerial shortlist with Jorge Sampaoli thought to be one of the leading candidates, the paper further claims should he be appointed he will immediately make a move for Sanchez – a key part of his Chile side that successfully leaded the country’s first major trophy last summer. Sanchez though has previously reiterated his desire to remain at the Emirates and dismissed claims he was heading for the exit.
The 27-year-old attacker has been a revelation since his big money move from Barcelona to the Emirates in 2014. The hardworking attacker joined for £30million as the second-most expensive signing in the club’s history.
He required no settling time and immediately begun paying back the price with 25 goals in his first season.
