Aston Villa are interested in signing Arsenal’s forward Joe Campbell, according to reports.
According to the Metro, Remi Garde is said to be keen on bringing a striker to Villa park and has identified Arsenal’s Joe Campell as one of his target when the winter transfer window opens in January. Remi Garde sees the Costa Rica striker as an upgrade to his current strike force and is keen on tabling a loan bid for the 23 year old.

Campbell has been on many club’s Radar since his impressive display at the 2014 world cup and he will represent a massive coup if Garde can lure him to Villa park.
The striker has played 5 games for the Gunners and has scored 2 goals. Arsene Wenger has primarily deployed the 23 year old on the wings because of injuries to key players in the Gunner’s sqaud. Since Campbell joined Arsenal in 2011, he has been on loan at Lorient, Real Betis, Olympiacos and Villareal.
Campbell made his premier league debut for Arsenal in August 2014 against Everton after he obtained his work permit a year earlier.
