Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ruled Alexandre Lacazette out of the club’s Europa League tie with AC Milan on Thursday.
Lacazette has missed the last few weeks through injury and has not recovered in time to face the Italian giants.
The Frenchman has been struggling with a knee injury, and will be hoping to return before the key end of season run in the Premier League.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is ineligible to play for Arsenal in the Europa League, having represented Borussia Dortmund in Europe earlier this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Arsenal said this:
Lacazette is not ready.
Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin have also been ruled out of the clash, with their respective injuries.
We had to leave Monreal behind as well. He started a little session but he’s not ready.
Danny Welbeck is expected to start up front for Arsenal in place of Aubameyang and Lacazette when they face Milan.
