Freiburg defender Soyuncu has emerged as a target for Arsenal but claims a deal is not close to being struck.
“Arsenal are one of the most important clubs in England,” he said.
“I know they’re interested in me, but there’s nothing finalised yet about my transfer.
“After the national team camp we’ll have talks.”
Soyuncu has been a regular at the back for Freiburg since joining from Turkish outfit Altinordu in 2016.
The 22-year-old has made 50 Bundesliga appearances and forced his way into Turkey’s starting XI.
Soyuncu previously admitted that he will only leave Freiburg if he is guaranteed first-team football.
“For me, it must be a team where I can play first,” he said.
“We will evaluate my chances of playing.
“It’s best to wait. The English league is a very good league.
“Of course I have a goal to play in top clubs.
“Freiburg is the first step. It has been very good for two years.
“A decision will be made in the interests of all of us.”
Arsenal are also interested in Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
