The Sporting Director of Borrussia Dortmund Michael Zorc has revealed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will join Arsenal this winter only if the Gunners accede to their demands, according to reports.

Arsenal have been in negotiation to sign the striker for some time now but they have been unable to meet the asking price of Borrussia Dortmund, with non of the parties agreeing to budge to the other’s demand – the disagreement is in the region of €10m apart as we understand.

Aubameyang has fallen out with the management of the Bundesliga outfit and he has informed them that he desires to further his career elsewhere. Arsenal’s interest in Auba dates back to yesteryear and they have taken advantage of his situation but not to the fullest.

The 28-year-old is currently in Dormund’s squad that is taking on  Freiburg, but before the game, the manager of Freiburg had claimed that the Gabonese star will feature in the game.

Meanwhile, Zorc laid bare what is stalling the player’s transfer and he also delivered a stern warning to Arsenal;

“Either our demands are met, then there may be still a transfer,” Zorc told Sky Sports Germany.

“But, if they are not fulfilled then Auba plays until the summer in Dortmund. So it is discussed by the way also with the family Aubameyang and accepted.

“Arsenal has started several attempts that we have declined, so I can not say how it will end at the moment.”

The match against Freiburg is Auba’s first since December 16th and he may just remain at the Club for the rest of the season.

Arsene Wenger and Arsenal have a knack for being too frugal in the transfer market. If you want Aubameyang just sign him and let’s have some peace.
