Chelsea target and Chile Manager Jorge Sampaoli has told Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich the only condition at which he will accept the Blues job next summer, according to the Metro.
The Blues who sacked Jose Mourinho last summer and appointed Guus Hiddink on interim basis are reportedly in search of a permanent manager to take charge of the troops for next season.
Hiddink however, has ruled out the possibility of managing the Blues longer than the current campaign and this has forced the club’s chiefs to step up their search for a long term manager.
Jorge Sampaoli is amongst a host of top managers the Blues are monitoting and the Chile boss has told the Blues they must sign Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez should he (Sampaoli) sign for them next summer.
According to reports, the Argentine is interested in working with Sanchez at club level after the pair enjoyed a successful spell together with the Chile national team.
The report claims Sanchez is valued at about £50m and the Gunners would even be unwilling to allow the winger move to West London.
Sampaoli is currently in discussions with the Chile national team as he hopes both parties reach an agreement to allow him move to Europe next summer.
