Emerging reports are indicating that Arsenal and Dynamo Moscow have reached an incomplete agreement involving a deal for Dynamo Moscow Russian striker, Aleksandr Kokorin, according to reports. The Russian international was linked with a move to North London during last summer’s transfer deadline day but Arsenal failed to finalise the deal for the striker.
The Gunners have reportedly made a new enquiry for Kokorin and the Russian outfit have agreed to let go of the striker for a fee in the region of £4.4 Million, although there is still some little doubts as regards the players movement as the Gunners are planning to initiate the move if Danny Welbeck suffers injury set back or if Giroud picks a knock.
Arsenal have been doing good upfront this season with their attacking players popping up with the much needed goals as well as the attacking midfield players creating the scoring opportunities, especially Mesut Ozil; who currently tops the assist chart.
Wenger could do with another striker, as the clubs approach the busy festive period of games where squad rotation becomes a necessity. Giroud is Arsenal’s ever present attacker as Theo Walcott has been in and out of the side due to injuries.
