During Sunday’s game against Everton, Arsenal goalie Petr Cech picked up a calf injury which saw him substituted in the 69th minute after Everton managed to pull one back through a Dominic Calvert-Lewin header at the far post.
Moments later Cech was down and receiving treatment which forced the Gunners to make a substitute.
Stopper David Ospina came off the bench and continued for the next 20 minutes between the posts.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed: “He has a kick on his calf. I don’t know how it is medically.”
The 35-year-old was set to complete his 200th clean sheet but it seems the wait goes on.
