Oh No, Another Fresh Injury Blow Ahead Of Tomorrow’s Clash

Arsenal have been dealt a fresh injury blow as Chilean star player suffers an injury set back that would keep him out of action for a further three weeks, according to reports.  Earlier, Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger had planned to keep Sanchez among the substitutes for Monday night Premier League encounter with title rivals Manchester City; however, Sanchez was not included in the Gunners match day squad as it was later confirmed that the Chilean will be out for a further 3 weeks; thereby making him unavailable for the crucial festive period where games would be coming thick and fast.

His absence from the team didn’t stop the Gunners from defeating the Citizens 2-1 at the Emirates, thanks from goals from Theo Walcott on 33 minutes and in-for striker, Olivier Giroud on 45 minutes; cutting the lead of Leicester City to just within 2 points and lifting the Gunners into second place on the log.

Sanchez has been an integral member of the Gunners squad since making the switch from Barcelona in Spain to the Premier league; the Chilean has hit the ground running and has formed a formidable front line with Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud. He is expected to be back for the game against Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool on January 13th.
