Arsene Wenger will be without Petr Cech and Laurent Koscielny for the north London derby against Tottenham, with both players nursing calf injuries.
David Ospina will start in goal, then, while Per Mertesacker and Gabriel look set to start in central defence, with Calum Chambers offering back-up. Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal are likely to continue in the full-back positions, although Kieran Gibbs does offer an alternative to Monreal on the left.
Francis Coquelin and Aaron Ramsey may line up once more at the base of midfield in Wenger’s standard 4-2-3-1 formation, with Mohamed Elneny and Mathieu Flamini the alternatives.
Joel Campbell’s performance was one of the few plus points in the 2-1 defeat to Swansea, so he could keep his place on the right of the attacking midfield positions.
Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will probably form the rest of the attacking midfield trio, with Danny Welbeck perhaps earning a recall as the lone striker having only played 27 minutes on Wednesday night. Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott provide further options in attack.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky remain out for the Gunners.
