Former Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has delivered a verdict on what the difference between Arsenal and Liverpool are, this is according to report.
After stalling over a new deal with Arsenal, Chamberlain shockingly joined Liverpool on deadline day of the last summer transfer window. The decision to allow the England international leave Arsenal for Liverpool was not taken so well by the fans of Arsenal.
Nonetheless, Chamberlain has struggled to impose himself on the team of the Merseyside club as he has mostly be used as a a substitute. Liverpool in a club in the same league as Arsenal and so, you would easily expect that adaption would not be a question.
Chamberlain has however claimed that there is a difference between the two sides as evident by the intensity of their play.
“It takes time to settle in anywhere & learn the new style of play, we play a very intense game that takes time,” he said, as reported by the Metro.
“I’m getting there and it’s important every time I get opportunities to show what I can do and that’s scoring goals.”
Liverpool work more off possession than the Gunners but for a player who wants to play in midfield or who has played as a right wing back, to settle in a team like Liverpool should not take so much time as such.
Chamberlain scored when Liverpool thrashed Maribor in the Champions league last week and he also scored his first Premier league goal as they thumped West Ham in the Premier league on Saturday.
