Alexis Sanchez compatriot Ivan Zamorano has revealed that the winger is happy at the Emirates and is looking forward to playing his best football at the club next season, via the Metro.

In recent weeks, multiple reports had emerged that the 27 year old Chile international is unhappy at the Emirates due to the club’s failed title challenge.

It was claimed that Sanchez was stalling on signing a new contract at the club as he weighs up his option ahead of next season and should Wenger fail to sign quality players this summer, Sanchez will push for a move away from the Emirates with Juventus, Manchester City and Bayern Munich all waiting in the wings to sign the skillful forward.

Other reports claim the Chilean’s relationship with Arsene Wenger suffered severe strain when the winger stormed into the tunnel and out of the stadium when he was substituted against Norwich in April.

However, Zamorano has given Gooners goodnews as he revealed that the winger is happy at the Emirates.

‘I think that Alexis is recovering his happiness. He looks like a happy guy at Arsenal,’ the former Real Madrid ace and Chile international told Omnisport.

‘Wenger has squeezed him and he has taken the best of Alexis. This is very important, because when he comes on the pitch motivated, he make the difference.

‘He is the best Arsenal player and one of the best forwards in the Premier League. That means that he is working really well.’

Sanchez joined Arsenal in 2014 from Barcelona and is regarded as one of the key member of the Gunner’s squad alongside Mesut Ozil.

Zamorano claims of the player’s happiness will definitely be a huge boost to Wenger who is looking to strengthen his squad significantly this summer.
