Arsenal are prepared to listen to offers for Kieran Gibbs next summer, according to reports.
The left back who has been with the Gunners since 2004 is now being linked with a move away from the North London club. Gibbs has been unable to hold down a regular first team spot.
Despite him being the preferred choice at left back for Arsene Wenger last two seasons, the 26 year old lost his place to Monreal at the beginning of the season and has been shut out of the Gunners first team by the Spaniard’s performance.
According to the Telegraph, Gibbs could be on his way out of the Emirates as Wenger prepares to overhaul his squad in the summer.
The left back is set to join the likes of Arteta, Flamini and Rosicky out of the club as Wenger prepares for next season.
According to the report, Wenger has earmarked Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell as a long term replacement to Nacho Monreal who has been superb this season.
Wenger reportedly made two bids for Chilwell in the last winter transfer window and is ready to go all out to sign the Leicester City defender again.
Gibbs have only started for the Gunners on two occasions this season while coming on from the bench on another 11 occasions.
