AS Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar is pushing for an Arsenal move amid reports that the French side are reportedly also looking replacement.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates for major parts of the summer transfer window, with reports that Arsene Wenger is keen on adding the Frenchman to his ranks amid speculation over the future of Alexis Sanchez who has refused to sign an extension to his current deal despite having less than one year on his contract.
Arsenal have already had three massive bids rejected for Lemar, with suggestions that AS Monaco recently turned down a bid of £50 million despite strong indications that the player is also keen on moving to the Emirates, dropping hints on social media.
Reports in reliable French outlet L’Equipe claim that Thomas Lemar could push for a transfer move this summer as the move has begun to drag while Monaco are also searching for replacements for the left-sided midfielder.
There are reports that Monaco have entered talks with Rachid Ghezzal who is a free agent after getting released by Lyon at the end of the last campaign.
It is understood that the arrival of Ghezzal to Monaco could pave way for Lemar to join Arsenal meanwhile it is also believed that the French champions will have to beat competition from Italian giants AC Milan and Ligue 1 rivals, Nice for the signature of Ghezzal.
