According to Italian Journalist Guillem Balague, he reveals Aubameyang is disappointed with Arsenal.
The Borussia Dortmund forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates this month.
Although Arsene Wenger is running out of time to sign Aubameyang before next week’s deadline.
The 28-year-old was recently suspended by Dortmund after missing a team meeting.
But Aubameyang is expected to be recalled to the squad this weekend, despite hoping he can push through a move to north London.
“Arsenal are still confident because they have the word of the player,” Balague said on his Youtube channel.
“The player told Borussia Dortmund he doesn’t want to play for them any more.
“But he started training and it is expected that he will be called up at the weekend.
“The reason why he’s back in training is because there is disappointment on the position of Arsenal.”
And Balague reveals why Aubameyang is unhappy with the Gunners’ negotiation tactics.
“They are negotiating,” the Spaniard continued.
“I want to think that after putting a bid of €50m when the valuation is €65m from Dortmund suggests there is a a €10-15m difference [between the clubs].
“When the player knows about that, he thinks ‘Well I was the best player in the Bundesliga last season, you cannot get me on the cheap’.
“So it may all be part of the negotiations, but for Aubameyang he will want things done much quicker.
“But it seems things are not going fast at all.”
Aubameyang’s former Dortmund team-mate Henrikh Mkhitaryan completed his move to Arsenal earlier this week.
