Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
West Bromwich Albion coach, Tony Pulis, has categorically distance himself from rumours linking him with a loan move for Arsenal’s want-away defender Mathieu Debuchy for the second phase to the 2015/2016 season according to reports.
Earlier reports suggested that the Gunners recalled Serge Gnabry from West Bromwich Albion after featuring in just 12 minutes since his season long loan deal with West Brom; and this has paved the way for West Brom to make a move for the French man and that the deal is almost done.
Italian Side, AS Roma and French outfit Olympique Lyon are keen for on the player’s signature with Premier League side Aston Villa willing to take Debuchy to Villa Park to help save their season, as they sit bottom on the log with just 8 points in 20 games played so far.
Pulis was asked about the speculated link for Debuchy and he said ‘’I’ve not said a word to Arsenal and Arsenal have not said a word to me so it’s a definite no.’’
Debuchy is seeking regular football so as to boost his chances of representing France in the European Championships in the summer; although Wenger would love to see him stay at the Emirates, Debuchy is keen on a move away.
Remi Garde would now hope that his relationship with Arsene Wenger and the French connection between the three involved party could see Aston Villa sign Debuchy ahead of the other two interested clubs.
