Alexis Sanchez is attempting to sour the relationship between himself and Arsenal by forcing a move to Manchester City.

The Chilean has apparently told Arsenal he won’t be signing a new contract and wants to change club this summer.

This has led to interest in his services from Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester City but Arsenal had made it known to him that a bid from a Premier League rival will not be entertained.

Despite Arsenal’s warning, Sanchez appears desperate to complete a move to the Etihad, Wenger would prefer to do business with Bayern Munich but The Mirror via The Metro reports that Sanchez is prising himself out of a move to Bayern by demanding high wages.

The report claims Sanchez is demanding a deal worth around £420,000 a week from Bayern and this has left the Bundesliga champions in a state of shock.

Carlo Ancellotti now believes the forward wants to team up with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City against Arsenal’s wishes, hence the reason he is demanding for such exorbitant wages.

Although Wenger has publicly insisted the Chilean won’t be sold, it is claimed that we are resigned to losing him in private and have placed a £50m price tag on him. While the transfer fee won’t be a problem for Bayern, it is the player’s wages that is threatening to end their interest. Manchester City are believed to be more than ready to pay the Chilean what he wants.

Should Sanchez join Manchester City, he wil not only dent his relationship with Arsenal but also anger Gooners who are desperate for him not to join a rival club if he must leave.

I hope he doesn’t join the long list of Arsenal stars that have switched from the Emirates to the Etihad.
