Stoke will not let Jack Butland leave this summer, with Arsenal hovering.

According to The Stoke Sentinel, the Potters have issued a ‘hands off’ warning to the likes of Arsenal.

Stoke’s hierarchy have no plans to sell Butland this summer, with the club expecting to see links regarding their star goalkeeper.

Butland’s future was discussed in a transfer summit meeting on Thursday between chairman Peter Coates, vice chairman John Coates, chief executive Tony Scholes and manager Mark Hughes.

Stoke could well have a big decision to make over the timing of any sale next year, though.

An injury-free season could see Butland earn his way to become England’s first-choice keeper for the 2018 World Cup, increasing his value.
