And so the senior squad exodus begins.
According to reports, Arsenal are open and waiting for offers for defensive duo Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy.
The two Arsenal stars made just one Premier League appearance each last season with their careers at the Emirates being curtailed by injury and underperformance.
But The Telegraph claim Arsene Wenger is ready to get the pair of his books as he bids to overhaul his squad this summer.
This means Wenger would have to sign at least one natural right back this summer to provide cover for Hector Bellerin.
Although, the boss switched to a 3-centre back pairing and two wing-backs towards the end of the season, which meant Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Bellerin could be selected for the right-wing-back spot.
However, Wenger is still keen on signing a natural right-back to provide solid cover for the team, should they ever decided to use a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Jack Wilshere and Wojciech Szczesny’s futures have also been cast into doubt following their respective loan spells at Bournemouth and Roma.
