Arsenal have been linked with a move for one of Bundesliga’s hot stars at the moment, according to reports.
Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign Schalke full-back Sead Kolasinac.
The 22-year-old German born defender has adopted the nationality of a Bosnian following his parent’s allegiance to the country.
As well as the English side, clubs such as Roma, Inter, AC Milan, Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund are among the teams interested in the full-back. However, a formal interest and bid has yet to be made, according to Transfer Markt Web.
During his younger days playing for Schalke II, he was frequently played at centre-back or defensive midfield but when he was promoted to the first team, Jens Keller elected to play the 6 ft 0? Bosnian at left-back in the 2012-13 season. A move which brought Kolasinac heaps of praise following solid performances.
For Schalke, he has played sixty-seven times in all competitions for the Royal Blues, making his debut against Greuther Furth in 2012. He only had to wait just over a year for his international debut for Bosnia.
Kolasinac is still under contract with Andre Breitenreiter’s side until 2017. If Arsene Wenger chose to chase the full-back he would cost in excess of €7 million.
