Jack Wilshere could leave Arsenal on a permanent transfer this summer if his future is not resolved in the coming weeks, according to reports.
Wilshere has one year left in his current deal and was expecting to hold talks with Arsenal over a new contract this summer but no new deal is forth coming, which has thrown his future into doubt.
Arsenal are currently focusing all its attention on extending the contracts of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez while Wilshere’s entourage is yet to hear from Arsenal.
And if that ain’t bad enough, Starsports understand that no club has shown any interest in signing the playmaker.
Wilshere has been dogged by series of long-term injuries in recent years and no club is willing to sign a midfielder who has such injury record.
His recent setback came in April when he suffered a broken leg while playing for Bournemouth against Manchester City and has been out of action since then.
He is expected to demand a salary increase to around £90,000 a week, which Arsenal would be reluctant to pay.
It is claimed a move to China could be his only option if his situation doesn’t change before the transfer window ends.
It is surprising how things can change within a year, last summer when the midfielder decided to leave the Emirates, he had over a dozen of clubs interested in his services but he is struggling to attract a concrete interest at the moment.
Gooners, do you think Arsenal are right by refusing to offer Wilshere a new deal or should the club still keep him for the future?
