Arsene Wenger could be shown the exit door out of the Emirates should the Gunners lose their FA cup fifth round replay against Hull City on Tuesday.

The Gunners played out a disappointing goalless draw with Hull City in February and have also failed to win any of the four games that followed picking just 1 point in Saturday’s draw with Tottenham after three consecutive loses to Barcelona, Manchester United and Swansea.

The Daily Express now claims, should the Gunners lose against Hull City on Tuesday, Wenger would be asked to leave the club he has managed for 20 years before the game against Barcelona on March 16.

The decision to sack Arsene Wenger was reportedly considered after the club’s 2-1 defeat to Swansea on Wednesday which angered the fans and the Gunners hierarchy believes a change may be needed to please the fans again.

Bookies have already earmarked former Arsenal captain Patrick Viera as the favourite to replace Arsene Wenger at 7/1 while Diego Simeone follows him at 8/1 then Ronald Koeman at 10/1.

After Southampton’s goalless draw with Arsenal at the Emirates in January, Koeman was linked with a move to the Emirates should Wenger decide to retire while Stan Collymore recently said he believes Simeone should replace Wenger.

Wenger who has reportedly been given a large summer transfer kitty could have the chance to spend the money should Arsenal defeat Hull City on Tuesday and go on to win the FA cup.

What is obvious is that the club is already making efforts to find a replacement for Arsene Wenger who could leave the club Voluntarily when his contract expires at the end of next summer or be axed after the game against Hull City.
