Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Paris St. Germain have reportedly joined the race for the signature of Arsenal’s want away defender, Mathieu Debuchy, according to reports making the rounds.
Debuchy has signalled his intention to leave the Emirates Stadium in search for more playing time in a bid to better his chances of making Didier Deschamp’s team for the European Championship being hosted by France in the summer.
The right back has caught the interest of Italian side AS Roma and Olympique Lyon in the previous weeks before reports now indicated that Premier League sides West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa are also keen on the 30 year old defender.
French sources Le 10 Sport says Paris St. Germain are keen to take Debuchy to France this month. Debuchy himself was asked before Christmas about a move back to France and he responded by saying ‘’A return to France? Why not.
Debuchy joined the Gunners from Newcastle United for £10 Million after the experienced defender stayed with the Magpies for just 18 months, making 46 appearances for the St James Club.
Debuchy has struggled to get back into the Arsenal first team squad since losing his spot due to the shoulder injury which kept him out of first team action for a long time; leading to him losing his position to Hector Bellerin.
