Chile youngster Marcello Allende was spotted training with Arsenal yet again, according to Standard Sport.

The highly rated midfielder has been linked with a move to the Emirates for quite sometime and has even had trials with the club on two occasions.

It appears Arsenal are seriously interested in signing the young man as he has been invited over again for the club coaches to watch him train.

The Gunners can’t officially sign the player until he is 18 and it does seem that a future move is on the cards.

The young deeplying playmaker is being tipped to become Chile’s next big star after Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal appear serious in the young man and many may be wondering what the club’s talent spotters may have seen in a player who hasn’t really gotten his career off the ground but the lad has now given us an insight on his abilities. Speaking about his style of play, Allende said:

“I’m a fast thinker and always try to have the play mapped out before I get the ball – then just take a touch.

“I also like splitting the lines with a pass… that gives me as much pleasure as a goal.”

Judging by the youngsters comment, the first player that comes to mind is Santi Cazorla. The deeplying playmaker has been integral to Arsenal’s style of play, so it’s no longer surprising that Arsenal appear keen on Allende.

The Chilean still has a long way to go before he can match Cazorla’s quality but if he shows he has enough potential to get to same level, he could well be the Spaniard’s successor.
