Paris Saint Germain star Ezequiel Lavezzi is determined to sign for a Serie A team says his agent according to Daily Star.
The Argentine has just six months left on his current contract and Paris St. Germain are not looking to extend his stay at the club and the Argentine is keen on returning to the league where he made his mark before moving to France.
According to Lavezzi’s agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, the 30 year old would love a return to Italy where he previously featured for Napoli in a three man deadly attack featuring fellow Paris St. Germain team mate Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik.
Liverpool would love to have a player in the mode of Lavezzi in their young squad as he is highly experienced, physically fit for the English league, fast and good at creating and scoring goals.
Arsenal Boss, Arsene Wenger is also keen on the Argentine attacker and there is on-going report that the Gunners too would make a last ditch attempt to sign the attacker in January ahead of other suitors.
Arsenal look more certain to qualify for the UEFA Champions league which is something that could swing the bidding war in their favour, as Lavezzi would want to play in Europe next season.
Both clubs have a lot of convincing to do for the Argentine to come to England as he has stated that his desired destination is the Italian Serie A.
