Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczeny had denied rumours being speculated by tabloid about him being unhappy with the Giallorossi despite yesterday’s victory over German side Bayer Luverkusen.
The pole goalie was in action yesterday for Roma in the Champions League fixture where they won 3-2.
25-year-old goalie has been recently come under fire for both his performance on the pitch and for an interview given earlier this week in which he made a plea for a return back to the Emirates.
Szczeny was sent on loan after summer signing Petr Cech was introduced into the team as he feel down the pecking order making David Ospina Arsenal second choice goalie.
However, the pole man argued in yesterday’s pre match conference that he is contented at the club and his words have been misinterpreted.
“My comments need to be understood properly” he said
“I’m still an Arsenal player and if they call me back I couldn’t refuse”
“But until then I’ll give my best for Roma”
