Arsenal target Edinson Cavani is on the news again regarding his future and this time, he has revealed he won’t rule anything out this summer.
The Uruguay international who has been hotly tipped to leave the French capital this summer says although he wouldn’t rule out a move to the Premier League, he could as well remain at Paris St-Germain next season.
A number of Premier League clubs including Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign the striker who was thought to be interested in a move to England after reportedly being fed up of playing out wide due to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The striker has however revealed he won’t be forcing a move to England next summer as he respects and loves his club so much for him to do that.
“I respect my club, like all those I played until the last day,” Cavani told Mexican television channel TDN, as quoted by London24.
“I wear the shirt of this club, I will defend it as if I had been supporting the club all my life.
“The only thing I can say is that, beyond the ups and downs that I had since I was there, of all the debates that had on me, I have always tried to respect the team, the club and the jersey at the time of entering the field.
“I will try to continue like this, to give the best football depends on many things, so you never know… I hope things continue like this as long as possible.”
Cavani has scored 72 goals in 129 appearances for the French side since joining in 2013 with his latest goal against a Premier League side coming in his club’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea two weeks ago.
