Arsenal new signing Kelechi Nwakali is set to leave the club on loan, according to reports.
The Nigeria U20 international completed his move to Arsenal in July and has been training with the first team but reports in his homeland now claim the player will be sent on loan to a club in Turkey or Norway.
Arsenal had already confirmed the midfielder who signed a five year contract with the club this summer, will be sent out on loan to continue his development and according to Africanfootball.com, a top source told them Arsenal are considering loan offers from Turkey and Norway.
“The loan options Arsenal are working on are in either Turkey or Norway,” a top source claim.
However, it appears Norwegian club Viking are leading the race to sign the player this summer, according to reports by the Daily Star.
The midfielder has not been granted a UK work permit, hence can not feature for the Gunners. So a move to Norway could be the best option for both the player and the club.
Nwakali was the most valuable player in the U17 world club conducted last year in Chile and could develop into a world class player for Arsenal in the future but for now, he would have to continue his development outside the club.
