Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has moved quickly to allay the fear of recent rumours making the rounds that he is set for a January exit from the Emirates and back to Germany with Bayern Munich reportedly the would-be culprits plotting such deeds.
The £42 million record signing is set for a long spell on the sidelines with a knee injury after confirmations of a partially ruptured joint while on international duty.
Following this development, reports sprung up of Ozil being unhappy at Arsenal and would fancy a chance to walk out the Emirates door should a move present itself in the form of Bayern Munich.
It was even reported that the Gooners would dump the 25-year-old for young progidy Julian Draxler in January.
But all that has been squashed now (at least the part that we would loose the former Real Madrid midfield Maestro) with Mesut Ozil himself taking to his official account on popular social media outlet twitter to allay fears of his said sadness at Arsenal and likely exit from the club.
Below is the tweet from the German while also thanking his fans and well wishers for their “get well soon messages”
We wish Mesut Ozil a speedy recovery and back to the pitch soon for us.
