Laurent Koscielny did not feature for France when they play Columbia in their international friendly on Friday night.

The Arsenal defender limped off during the 3-1 win against AC Milan in the Europa League before the international break, with Arsene Wenger revealing afterwards that his back had cramped up after being kicked early in the game.

Koscielny did link up with the French national squad, however, and has spent the week with Didier Deschamps’ squad at their Clairefontaine training camp.

But reports in France suggest that Deschamps decided not to risk Koscielny due to injury concerns.

The news will be a worry to Arsene Wenger, who learnt on Thursday that Jack Wilshere had suffered a knee problem during training which forced the midfielder to miss England’s game in Holland.

The Gunners take on Stoke City next Sunday (April 1) and Wenger will be keen to have both players available as he looks to build towards the Europa League quarter-final against CSKA Moscow.
