London based club Arsenal FC have been urged to sign promising Swedish talent Emil Frosberg in the summer market.
The 26-year-old Sweden international plays for German club RB Leipzig, and is perceived as a good deal by Arsenal legend Anders Limpar.
Limpar revealed to Football.london that hiring the services of Emil Frosberg will add a great quality to the Gunners’ squad next term.
The 52-year-old former Swedish professional footballer believes in Frosberg is a bundle of talent, a player who would fit easily into the Gunners’ style of football and would give them a good number of options in attack.
Limpar told football.london: “If we get Emil Forsberg, we will be so lucky. He’s the biggest prospect we have in Europe. He has been really good in the Bundesliga and has been outstanding for the national side.”
He added, “Please God, we should sign him straight away — if we can.
“Emil would fit right in at Arsenal. He is so mobile; he can pass the ball and put assists up. He is one of the better players I have seen here in Sweden in many years, if you take Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] away.”
Limpar had a four-year stint at the Emirates in the 90s, going on to win the league title with the Gunners in the 1990/1991 season.
Forsberg is currently valued at £22.50m according to transfermarkt.
