Arsenal are reportedly on the lookout for top quality players ahead of next season.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in the summer, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
According to fresh reports, Arsenal have reportedly been told that they must pay at least £28.4million to complete a transfer deal for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.
Vidal is thought to be keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium to join up with international teammate and friend Alexis Sanchez with Arsenal very interested in his signature.
But the deal has hit a snag as the Italian champions have reportedly upped their price for the midfield star; probably due to the huge success the Italian giants have had this season that may see them bag a triple title if they beat Barcelona in the Champions League final.
They will only enter into advanced negotiations if a £28.4m bid is lodged and that still may not be enough, according to Tuttosport.
Arsenal may want to do well to conclude on a fee with Juventus for the star ahead of the Champions League final, with many suggesting the Italian side will further increase their demands should they emerge winners.
