Everton have set their sights on Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck should they fail to sign his Gunners’ team-mate Olivier Giroud, according to The Mirror.
Ronald Koeman is in the market for a new striker this summer after selling last season’s top goalscorer Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United for £75million.
Giroud is said to be Everton’s priority target, but should the Frenchman decide to stay at Arsenal the Toffees will then turn their attention to Welbeck.
The England international would reportedly command a £30m fee.
Gooners, should Wenger sell Welbeck to Everton or should the boss keep him at Arsenal despite the option of Lacazette, Giroud and even Alexis?
