Barcelona are keeping tabs on Aaron Ramsey and could make a move for the Welsh man if they miss out on Marco Verratti, according to reports.
The Catalan giants are pursuing a move for PSG’s Verratti – a player who has also been linked with Arsenal in the past, but the French club are unwilling to sell the midfielder.
Ernesto Valverde had made the Italian his top midfield target but with a deal proving difficult to complete, the Barca boss could turn his attention to Ramsey.
The Spanish giants were linked with Ramsey last summer and The Daily Cannon are claiming they could renew their interest in the midfielder this summer.
However, Arsenal have no intention of selling Ramsey and would demand a whooping £70m for the midfielder.
Ramsey has suffered recurrent injuries that has limited his contributions in the last few seasons but he has shown his top quality on some few occasions, like the goal he scored against Chelsea in Last season’s FA Cup Final.
With Santi Cazorla set to miss majority of next season, Ramsey would be handed a key role within Arsenal’s squad next season and Wenger wouldn’t want to sell him now.
This could also be a false news given that the report has no credible source.
