Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has admitted that 30 year old Frenchman; Mathieu Debuchy could leave the Emirates in the transfer window as he has been courted by a host of clubs. Debuchy has requested to leave the Emirates in search of more playing time after losing his starting position to the spectacular Hector Bellerin when he sustained a shoulder injury that kept him out of the team for a long time.
The Frenchman is at risk of being omitted from the French Squad for the European championship since he doesn’t feature for his side as France coach, Didier Deschamp would certainly pick players who play regularly over fringe players.
This possibility has led to Debuchy looking to move to another club so as to play regularly and boost his chances of making the French team for the tournament in the summer. Italian side AS Roma, French outfit Olympique Lyon and Premier league duo of West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa have been reportedly interested in aiding the player’s course.
French giants, Paris St. Germain have also registered their interest in Debuchy who was asked during Christmas about moving to France and he replied why not?
