Arsenal are ready to launch a late move for Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado, according to reports.
Last month, reports claimed Arsenal had made a €16m bid for the winger which was turned down.
Transfer Market Web via the Daily Cannon are now reporting that Arsenal are set to return with an improved offer for Cuadrado before the transfer window closes in a fortnight.
The boss is said to be a fan of the Colombian and will make a last minute attempt to bring him to London.
Juventus recently spent £18m to sign Cuadrado from Chelsea permanently and would likely demand twice that fee if they are to sell the Colombian to Arsenal.
Arsenal’s reported interest in Cuadrado is definitely surprising to all because the player failed to adapt to the demands of the Premier League when he was at Chelsea.
This move doesn’t make any sense because he would cost us a huge sum of money and considering he is already 29, it will be unreasonable for Wenger to spend big on him when there are younger players out there.
Again Cuadrado isn’t the kind of player that would improve Arsenal considerably, he isn’t one of Juventus most important players and it is unlikely he will come here to play a starring role for us.
