Arsenal are plotting a swoop for Benfica star Andrija Zivkovic.
The Gunners are keen on wrapping up a deal for the highly-rated Serbian this summer according to Portuguese media outlet O Jogo.
Zivkovic, 21, has long been regarded as a potential top player in Serbia, after making his debut for Partizan Belgrade as a 17-year-old.
Such was his impact, he was handed his senior international debut for the country at the same age.
He even became the youngest captain in Partizan’s history when he was handed the armband in his breakthrough season aged 17 years and seven months.
Zivkovic was on Arsene Wenger’s radar long before his free transfer move to Portugal on a five-year deal in 2016.
The young Serbian struggled to settle in his first season with the Portuguese giants but this term has become an important part of boss Rui Vitoria’s plans.
Zivkovic can operate as a winger or in central midfield and was outstanding in Benfica’s 5-1 win against Rio Ave on Saturday.
