Arsene Wenger has been urged to sign a world class striker this summer by a man who was regarded as world class in his days, via football365.

Arsenal failed to win their second league game in two weeks after playing out a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday.

After the 3-3 draw against West Ham the week before, ex players and pundits have talked about the Gunners team with some claiming the team’s weak link is at the heart of the defense but Alan Shearer is of a different opinion with the former Newcastle forward claiming the strike force is the position that needs to be attended to urgently.

Speaking on Match of the Day on BBC, Shearer revealed why Wenger must sign a top striker this summer.

“They won’t win the league until they sign a top class, world- class striker, who can get 25 or 30 goals a season,” he said.

“I’ve been saying all season that they’re at least two players, top players short, and my view hasn’t changed on that.

The pundits opinion might be different from Wenger’s but one thing is indisputable, the team needs reinforcements ahead of next season and Wenger and his crew needs to do their best to identify top players and bring them to the club.
