Arsenal who are looking for a winger replace Alexis Sanchez have been told to increase their bid by £12m in order to sign Juan Cuadrado from Juventus, according to a report in The Daily Cannon.

Last week, The Sun shocked everyone by publishing a report that Juventus had rejected a £17.6m bid from Arsenal for the wing back who has been touted as a replacement for unsettled attacker Alexis Sanchez.

They are back with a new update on the report and this time they claim the Serie A giants are holding out for a £30m fee.

Cuadrado who saw red in Juve’s Champions League defeat to Real Madrid earlier this month has been impressive at Turin, since spending six months of his career at Chelsea, where he failed to impress.

Despite finding his form back at Juventus, it is surprising that Arsenal are being linked with him as I don’t think he has done enough to warrant a move back to the Premier League.

Cuadrado has been on loan at Juve from the Blues and the Champions League finalist are set to sign him up permanently at the start of July for £17m, hence they are holding out for at least a £12m profit if they are to sell the Colombian.

Tottenham are also being linked with the versatile right sided midfielder who scored three goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions last term.

Well, I do think this is all paper talk because there is little or no chance Juventus will allow Cuadrado leave this summer.
